ChildSafe empower organisations to become Child Safe Organisations.
The National Office for Child Safety was created in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. The Australian Government released the 10 National Child Safety Principles and, from this framework, the Australian Human Rights Commission developed Child Safe Organisations.
The AHRC principles are being adopted by each State and Territory (by the 2019 COAG agreement) to guide organisations working with children.
