Overview

Implementing Queensland’s Child Safe Standards requires more than policies, awareness sessions and isolated compliance activities. Sustainable child safety depends on whether leaders, staff, volunteers, systems and organisational culture change together.

The Queensland Child Safety Change Management Workshop supports organisations to move from commitment to implementation. It provides a practical framework for identifying what must change, engaging people across the organisation, addressing resistance and building the skills, incentives and resources needed to make child safety part of everyday practice.

Designed as an ideal follow-on or companion program to the Child Safety Lead Officer Workshop, this course helps organisations create a coordinated roadmap for strengthening child safety over time. Participants work through practical planning activities that can be directly applied within their own service, program or organisation.
